General
This bundle contains the most popular microfluidic accessories for a number of different applications with Bartels BP7 and mp6 micropumps. It includes Tygon and silicone tubing as well as hose clamps and Y barb connectors.
The kit includes Tygon tubing with a 1.3 mm inner diameter. This transparent, sterilizable tubing is chemical-resistant, prevents deposits, and works with both liquids and gases. It is ideal for use in laboratory settings, pumps, and analytical instruments to enhance pump performance.
The transparent silicone tubing is also perfectly compatible with the BP7 Tubing micropump and all Bartels microfluidic components. This versatile tubing is suitable for medical, food, and drinking water applications, handling both liquids and gases. It offers excellent temperature resistance (up to +200°C, briefly to +250°C), steam sterilization capability at +134°C, and protection against weathering (ozone and UV light). It is moisture-resistant with a tensile strength of 11 N/mm² but has a higher gas permeability than the Tygon tubing, which may limit its use in certain gas applications.
The mp-hc hose clamp is a compact yet effective solution for securing tubings to components like the BP7 – Tubing micropump. While the tubing provides good adhesion on its own, some applications require additional security. These PC clamps are especially valuable in high-pressure systems, preventing leaks and ensuring reliable connections. They are specifically designed for use with the mp-t Tygon tubing 1.3 mm ID.
The Y connector enables parallel operation of two micropumps and is compatible with tubing inner diameters from 1.3 mm to 2.6 mm. Made from polypropylene (PP), it provides secure connections for microfluidic applications.
