The Akura™ Tilting Stand is ideal to keep the Akura™ microplates at an angle of 30 degrees for spheroid/organoid formation. Maintaining plates at 30 degrees during cell aggregation leads to improved spheroid uniformity.
Description
The tilting stand maintains the Akura™ 96 and 384 Microplates at an angle of 30 degrees during the process of spheroid formation. Cells are directed to the edge of the wells which promotes efficient aggregation.
Up to 4 plates can safely be stacked on the stand for parallel spheroid formation.
The stand is made of anodized aluminum. It can be used in an incubator and can be cleaned and sterilized to be reused multiple times.
