The Cartridge pump head allows for synchronous multichannel pumping up to 8 channels. Designed for heavy-duty operation, this robust pump head is compatible with most L/S drives.
It delivers a flow rate from 0.005 to 1700 mL/min depending on the head type and tubing size.

Masterflex L/S Cartridge pump head
The Cartridge pump head offers synchronous multichannel pumping over a wide range of flow rates.
- Precision molded housing
- Fast tubing changes: cartridge snap in and out easily
- 1 up to 8 cartridges: up to 4 large or 8 small
- From 0.005 to 1700 mL/min and up to 600 rpm depending on the pump drive
- Adjustable occlusion optimized for each tubing size
- Compatible with microbore or Masterflex L/S tubing
Cartridge
Manufactured in polycarbonate and glass-filled nylon, the cartridges do not need any tool to be loaded on the pump head. Their occlusion “wedge” design provides accurate and more balanced flow control.
The pump head supports 4 large cartridges, 8 small, or any combination of both. One large cartridge occupies the same space as two small cartridges.
Compatibility:
- Small cartridge: 2-stop microbore 0.89 mm ID and larger; Masterflex L/S 13, 14
- Large cartridge: Masterflex L/S 14, 16, 25, 17

Tygon E-Food and Viton (L/S sizes) are not recommended with Cartridge pump heads.
