Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The Herringbone mixer is the ideal tool for mixing two liquids in an microfluidic system. One chip contains three individual herringbone mixer units. To increase the mixing effect, it is also possible to daisy-chain the individual mixing units. Please note, the individual mixing units slightly differ in design. Ther heringbone stucture can also be used to generate lipid nanoparticles.
The Herringbone Mixer - Mixing and NP production Fluidic 187 is developed for microfluidic applications in laboratory and industrial research. Its three individual mixer units permit flexible configurations, as they can be used separately or daisy-chained together. The chip is offered with different material and surface treatment combinations, allowing use with a wide range of fluids and reagents common in life science and chemistry labs.
Thanks to its transparent design, users can visually monitor mixing processes. The interface is compatible with standard Luer fittings, ensuring seamless integration into existing setups. Hydrophilized surface options further improve mixing and fluid handling, supporting experiments where precise fluid dynamics are needed.
