Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The pillar Fluidc 261 chip features eight chambers. Each chamber is populated with pillars of different size, pitch and shape. With its eight pillar chambers, the pillar chip Fluidic 261 can be used for a variety if applications. Pillar structures can be used to maintain particles at a certain area, to allow for self-filling of devices via capillary forces, to increase surface area, to have a sieving effect, or to use these structures for surface functionalization with high surface area regions in a microfluidic device
The Pillar Chip - Particle sieving and more Fluidic 261 offers a versatile tool for advanced microfluidics. It stands out for its adaptable chamber designs and surface structuring. The modular layout lets users test different functionalities, such as selective particle trapping, flow manipulation, or functionalizing surfaces with targeted molecules.
Available in transparent Topas, Zeonor, or PMMA, the chip fits standard mini Luer fluidic systems and is not surface-treated, maintaining experimental flexibility. The chip does not include membranes, which is beneficial where direct pillar-based separation or surface use is needed. It is suitable for exploratory lab work in biology, chemistry, diagnostics, or engineering.
The Pillar Chip - Particle sieving and more Fluidic 261 is ideally suited for:
