Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

This chamber chip features four individual chambers with a volume of 30 µl. Each channel features two inlets of which one can be used to pre-heat media. Whilst cells ought to be cultured at 37 °C, cell culture medium storage temperatures are generally lower. For this reason, this cell culture chamber chip features an additional extended channel upstream the cell culture area to ensure appropriate medium warm up prior to the cell culture. The chip features Mini Luer interfaces and is, like most of our cell culture chips, compatible with our Lab-on-a-Chip Cell Culture Incubator – LOC CCI 1.
The Reaction Chamber Chip with pre-heating Channel - 30 µl chamber volume Fluidic 992 allows researchers to set up four individual cell culture experiments, each in its independent chamber. The integrated pre-heating channel solves the common challenge of thermal equilibration of culture media, ensuring that cells are not exposed to temperature fluctuations during critical phases of the experiment. This results in improved viability and reproducibility of the data. The use of standardized Mini Luer connectors makes it simple to integrate into existing lab workflows.
Researchers can select from three different chip materials (Topas, PS, Zeonor) and select chips with or without hydrophilized surface treatment, delivering tailored performance for diverse assay requirements. The chip is fully transparent, which allows for in situ microscopy and straightforward monitoring of cell cultures in real-time. By eliminating a membrane, the chip is best suited for direct interaction studies or measurements where barrier separation is not needed.
This chip is suitable for a range of cell culture, organ-on-chip, or tissue engineering applications. Its flexibility supports robust experimental design in life sciences and biotechnology fields.
