Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The shallow chamber chip has been specifically designed for any experiment where a particularly shallow chamber is required. A typically use case would be the monitoring of droplets, which have been previously produced with one of our droplet generator chips. The shallow chamber chip features two individual chambers, both 100 µm in height with monitoring surface area of 441 mm².
This microfluidic chip is optimized for experiments requiring close control of chamber depth, such as droplet observation. The dual chamber design gives researchers the flexibility to perform two tests simultaneously or view two samples under matched conditions. Material and surface options help improve compatibility with different reagents and imaging systems.
The chip’s transparency improves monitoring for optical methods. It is ready for use in both research and industrial microfluidic workflows looking for repeatable shallow chamber conditions. Its robust materials and straightforward, membrane-free format further simplify integration into various set-ups.
