The Sideconnect chip holder is designed to quickly interface sideconnect chips. This holder is compatible with inverted and upright microscopes.
General
Quickly connect your sideconnect chip to your microfluidic system using this Sideconnect chip holder. With lateral chip-tubing connection ports, this holder minimizes the internal volume and allows a smooth flow with fewer bubbles. It is compatible with upright and inverted microscopes and leaves a large viewing area of the chip.
Compatible accessories:
- This holder must be used with compatible Sideconnect ferrules or Sideconnect ETFE Connection Kit.
- An assembly tool is recommended to keep the body and connectors in place during assembly
- When multiple chips and Sideconnect chip holders are used, the mounting frame helps to keep everything in place.
The Sideconnect is made for off-the-shelf sideconnect chips of 15 x 15 mm, with 1/16" OD tubing (not compatible with 1/32" OD tubing).
