Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The straight channel chip in microtiter plate format is equipped with four labeled sets of 16 microchannels each, with the following dimensions: * 2 mm width * 150 µm height * 18 mm length Fluidic access is easily provided by conical openings of 2.5 mm diameter at either channel end. To easily integrate a microfluidic assay into existing lab environments, we have developed a microfluidic platform with the outer dimensions of a standard microtiter plate. The SBS titer-plate format (85.48 mm x 127.76 mm) is a worldwide standard used by most pieces of equipment in the laboratory. The microtiter plates feature the spacing of the fluidic access holes of the laboratory standard and are compatible with the respective readers, allowing for a wide variety of different assays, including cell-based assays, hybridization assays, or small volume chemical synthesis. The channels can easily be filled via pipetting in the through-hole interfaces, manually or automated.
This product is designed for laboratories that require high-precision liquid handling and experimentation in a standardized microtiter plate format. Its high number of channels and standardized dimensions meet requirements for high-throughput screening, quantitative analysis, and reproducible results. The device’s compatibility with plate readers and lab automation extends its usability in molecular biology, diagnostics, chemistry, and cell culture.
With a choice of materials and surface treatments, researchers can select the optimal variant for their workflow, whether working with aqueous solutions, organic solvents, or specialized reagents. Simple filling by pipette (manual or robotic) supports various workflows, batch sizes, or automated protocols.
