Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The blister test chips are intended to evaluate liquid storage in blister pouches on chip. All blister test chips feature the microfluidic ChipShop blister seat with piercing needles for uniform blister emptying. Fluidic 522 comes with a metering channel/chambers and the following blister configuration: * Blister position 1: 250 µl, cyan, ddWater * Blister position 2: 250 µl, Magenta, ddWater
The Fluidic 522 blister test chip is specifically developed for evaluating and optimizing the storage and release of liquids from blisters in microfluidic systems. The design uniquely combines a metering channel and chambers with integrated blister seats and color-coded ddWater-filled blisters. This combination supports reproducible fluid handling and simplifies the visual workflow with easy blister identification.
The chip offers flexibility through surface treatment options, supporting both hydrophilic and standard surfaces as needed by the user. It is constructed from high-quality Topas and COC-based materials, ensuring clarity and chemical resistance, essential for analytical and research environments. Its standardized interface and clear design make it suitable for a variety of laboratory and device development applications.
This chip is best used for controlled studies, development, and quality checking of liquid blister storage in microfluidic devices as commonly required in research, diagnostics, and device development environments.
