General
The Boyle-Mariott-Chip Fluidic 147 for ultrafast PCR relies on the Boyle-Mariott principle: The volume of a gas behaves indirect proportional to its pressure. As the air in the air reservoir at the end of the channel is heated and cooled during PCR, its volume increases and decreases, therefore moving the PCR-reaction backwards and forwards in the channel to place it on the corresponding heat areas.
