Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The chamber interaction chip Fluidic 688 possesses two cell culture chambers, which can be filled individually with different cell types. When used with different organ-specific cell types, the chip provides the possibility to mimic the exchange between these cells (e.g. kindey and liver) and enables to study interdependent cellular responses between organs and demonstrate that such tandem system can greatly improve the reproducibility and efficiency of e.g. toxicity studies. Please note, if working with adherent cells, we recommend the use of hydrophilized chips as this will help your cells to adhere to the surface of the chip.
The Chamber Interaction Chip Fluidic 688 is built for cell culture professionals and researchers interested in co-culture and organ-on-chip applications. Each chip has two fully separated chambers, which can be filled with distinct organ-specific or tissue-specific cell types. When used with different cell types, the device supports direct or mediated exchange between co-cultured populations. This enables more precise and reproducible results in toxicity, transport, or cellular response studies. The chamber design helps to improve the physiological relevance of in vitro experiments.
The device is available in both Topas and PS variants, each with not treated or hydrophilized surface treatment, offering flexibility for various biological and experimental needs. Its simple yet robust architecture, transparent body, and easy-to-use mini Luer interface make it suitable for use in academic and industrial labs. Hydrophilized variants are recommended if you work with adherent cells, as they provide better substrate for cell attachment.
