Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.
The meander chip for flow PCR with 36 cycles and a pre-denaturation and post-elongation step features olive interfaces (two inlets and three outlets) allowing for a direct connection with tubing. The chip comes in microscope slide format (75.5 mm x 25.5 mm) and can be used with our ChipGenie® edition TS-3Z and ChipGenie® edition TSO-3Z instruments. PCRs with two and three temperature steps can be run on it. It has a length of 1450.75 mm and a volume of 31.93 µl (interfaces excluded). For continuous flow PCR the temperature zones are kept at a fixed temperature and the temperature cycling is achieved by moving the liquid in the chip over two or three temperature zones of the instrument resulting in ultrafast temperature cycles.
This microfluidic chip is a specialized device designed for scientists who need precision and reliability in PCR. Its multi-channel design lets you run samples in parallel over multiple temperature stages, reducing run times and increasing throughput. The olive interface makes linking to fluidic systems easy, minimizing risk of mistakes when connecting to tubing. The 31.93 µl channel volume is ideal for efficiency and economy in reagent use.
