Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The sorting and flow focusing chip Fluidic 1557 with Mini Luer interfaces features three flow focusing units. Channels/interfaces not in use can simply be closed with Mini Luer plugs. The chip can be used to generate e.g. PLGA nanoparticles or LNPs. The particle sorting chip applying a sheath flow should be used with pulsation free syringe pumps.
This microfluidic chip is designed for fast and reliable particle generation and sorting. It allows scientists to develop, optimize and fine-tune particle-formation experiments thanks to three independent flow focusing units. The device fits perfectly into lab workflows requiring process changes or parallel runs, as unused channels can be closed off easily.
By providing a choice between two material options, PC and Topas, the chip meets a wide range of application needs from chemical compatibility to optical requirements. The transparent body further assists precise observations in research and development settings.
This chip is suited for applications that need controlled fluid flow and precise particle sorting in microfluidics research and industry settings.
