The Volume Dispensing Kit is designed for high-accuracy liquid handling by controlling pump operation based on measured flow until a defined target volume is reached.
The kit contains BP7 Tubing pumps, the mp-Multiboard2 controller, the mp-Driver pump driver, a flow sensor, the FluidControl Plus software license, and various accessories.
General
The Volume Dispensing Kit is designed for accurate and repeatable volumetric dispensing in microfluidic and fluidic systems. It combines real-time flow measurement with closed-loop pump control to automatically dispense a defined volume of liquid. The pump runs until the target volume is reached, removing the need for manual timing and improving dispensing reproducibility.
Using live feedback from the integrated flow sensor, the system continuously monitors the dispensed volume and automatically stops the pump once the setpoint has been reached. This sensor-based control helps reduce operator dependency and supports reliable results in automated liquid handling workflows.
The kit can be controlled through FluidControl Plus and Bartels Fluidic Studio, allowing users to configure volume-based dosing and monitor system behavior in real time. The closed-loop approach makes the system especially useful for applications where dosing accuracy, repeatability and process stability are critical.
The included pulsation damper helps stabilize dispensing behavior by reducing flow pulsation. Combined with compact and standardized Bartels components, the kit offers a space-efficient and cost-effective solution for automated dosing tasks in compact fluidic setups.
