This Flangeless Fitting is a cost-effective solution designed to create a secure seal with rigid tubing for low-pressure applications. Manufactured entirely from Polypropylene (PP), this component is a reliable choice for fluidic systems where a broad range of chemical resistance and high biocompatibility are required, but at a lower cost than PEEK or other high-performance materials.
Features
- Flangeless: This fitting creates a secure connection without requiring the end of the tubing to be flared or flanged. The PP ferrule provides a secure grip on the tubing, simplifying assembly and ensuring a leak-free seal.
- Polypropylene (PP) Construction: PP offers good chemical resistance to a wide range of organic solvents, acids, and bases. Its excellent biocompatibility makes it suitable for life sciences applications. While highly durable, it is not recommended for high-pressure systems.
