Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.
The Pressure Driven Flow Control Kit is designed for precise and repeatable flow-rate control in microfluidic and fluidic systems. Instead of pumping liquid directly, the system uses pressure-driven actuation combined with real-time feedback from an integrated flow sensor. This approach helps reduce contamination, improves flow stability, and supports reliable operation in laboratory and mobile setups.
Closed-loop control allows the flow rate to be continuously adjusted based on live sensor feedback. The system can be controlled through FluidControl Plus and Bartels Fluidic Studio, enabling users to regulate pump performance with an easy-to-use PID controller. This makes the kit well-suited for applications where consistent and reproducible flow conditions are required.
The pressure-driven setup reduces direct liquid contact with active components. As the pump operates with air only, pump lifetime can be extended and cleaning is simplified. Only the flow sensor is in contact with the fluid, which reduces the number of contaminated components and helps maintain cleaner operation.
An optimized pressure volume, combined with the included pulsation damper, helps reduce pulsation and supports stable flow behavior. The system is self-sustaining and does not require an external pressure supply, making it suitable for compact, mobile and integrated fluidic platforms.
